SouthWest Transit adds bus stop at U of M

Due to customer demand, SouthWest Transit has added a new pickup point at the University of Minnesota.

Due to customer demand, SouthWest Transit has added a new pickup point at the University of Minnesota.

Starting this week, Routes 690U, 692U, 695 amd 698 will begin their trips with a stop at 3rd Street and Cedar Avenue. The pickup will be 2 minutes earlier than published times for the 19th and Washington Avenues.

The time point will be added to schedules when the next service adjustments are made.

SouthWest Transit provides express bus service from Chaska, Chanhassen and Eden Prairie to downtown Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota.
