The extreme heat has beenerased during the past couple of days, and Saturday will be even cooler.At Palm Springs, California, the high Saturday will be 82; a far cry fromthe 105 degrees observed there Tuesday. Las Vegas will be 73 Saturday, andPhoenix 86. The high country around Flagstaff, Arizona will be quite chillySaturday with temperatures no higher than the 50s.
