As this storm moves through the southern tier of the country, it will be moreof a nuisance than anything else. Yes, there will be slippery travel Tuesdaynight into Wednesday from Texas to the lower Midwest, but no location will geta large amount of snow or ice. As far as snow accumulations go, we're talkingabout a coating to a couple of inches.Rainfall through the Gulf States will average between 0.50 and 2 inches. Enoughto get you wet, but probably not enough to cause any serious flooding.

While crossing the South, the storm will cause some airport delays and slipperyhighways, but again nothing terribly drastic.
The key player is another storm that has just entered the Pacific Northwest.
That's the one that will do the dirty work along the East Coast Friday andSaturday. Once again however, I want to stress that the target for that nextstorm is upstate New York and northern New England and not the mid-Atlanticregion.
