True, it will start cold, but the shot of sunshinewill make for some recovery in temperature during the day. Winds will slackento a gentle breeze.

Cleanup from the heavy rain and high winds will get a boost from the benignweather. Lingering high waters will recede.

Plows and shovels will be hard at work in the wake of record snows in the highcountry from Southern California to Arizona and southwestern Colorado, such asBig Bear Lake, Calif., Flagstaff, Ariz., and Durango, Colo.

The respite from stormy weather will last into the early week. However, at thistime, another storm spawning locally heavy rain and mountain snow will trackthrough Southern California to southern Arizona between Monday night andWednesday afternoon.
