SEPT. 2

Theft. An outboard motor valued at $200 was stolen in the 14000 block of Grand Avenue.

Burglary. A burglary was reported in the 200 block of Woodland Drive.

SEPT. 6

Theft. A motorcycle valued at $2,700 was stolen in the 12500 block of Portland Avenue S.

SEPT. 15

Theft. A stereo was taken from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Town Centre Drive.

Fraud. A resident of the 4600 block of Summit Pass reported a $5,000 fraudulent charge on his credit card at Menards in Maplewood.

SEPT. 17

Welfare check. A caller asked police to check on the welfare of a resident of the 3400 block of Golfview Drive. The caller said she was concerned about him because when she'd spoken to him the previous night, he had been using meth and talking about "aliens and being at a job interview and speaking with imaginary people." Police were unable to make contact with the man.

SEPT. 19

Theft. Two teens were cited for theft after a report that they walked out of Kohl's, 1350 Town Centre Drive, wearing stolen pants under their original pants.

Property damage. Police took a property damage report in the 20000 block of Chippendale Avenue.

SEPT. 14

Theft. A bicycle valued at $100 was stolen in the 800 block of Sunset Drive.

SEPT. 18

Property damage. A vehicle window was broken in the 1000 block of Prospect Pointe Road. The damage was estimated at $50.

SEPT. 19

Burglary. Somebody broke into a garage in the 400 block of N. Rice Street and stole hunting gear and construction tools.

Burglary. A home in the 17900 block of Jubilee Way was burglarized.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS

SEPT. 1

Assault. After a hit-and-run accident, the driver reportedly left the scene. A witness followed, and the suspect then rammed the vehicle of the witness in the 800 block of Hwy. 13, police said.

Theft. CDs were stolen from a vehicle in the 1300 block of Mendota Heights Road.

SEPT. 4

Burglary. Somebody threw a rock through the door of a business in the 2500 block of Pilot Knob Road.

SEPT. 7

Theft. The president of a homeowners' association in the 2000 block of Acacia Drive reported the theft of two copper stone caps and one section of copper banding from the entrance sign to the property.

PRIOR LAKE

SEPT. 1

Property damage. A vehicle was keyed and its tires were flattened in the 4700 block of SE. Tacoma Circle.

SEPT. 2

Drugs. Police arrested a St. Paul resident, age 27, for possession of methamphetamine at Mystic Lake Casino, 2400 NW. Mystic Lake Blvd.

Suspicious activity. The Prior Lake library, 16210 SE. Eagle Creek Av., reported that several CDs and DVDs had gone missing over the past several months. Nobody has seen anybody take them.

SEPT. 3

Property damage. A window was broken, apparently by a shot from a BB gun, in the 5800 block of SE. Granite Court.

Theft. Handguns were reported stolen in the 6600 block of SE. Rustic Road.

SEPT. 5

Drugs. Police arrested a Bloomington man, 38, for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia at Mystic Lake.

SEPT. 6

Underage drinking. A 16-year-old Prior Lake boy was cited for underage drinking after a report that he urinated in the street in the 17100 block of SE. Wilderness Trail.

SEPT. 7

Theft. A motor valued at $1,000 was stolen from a boat in the 4600 block of SE. Tower Street.

ROSEMOUNT

SEPT. 17

Disturbance. Police arrested an Eagan man, 30, for disorderly conduct in the 14500 block of Dodd Boulevard.

Theft. A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 14500 block of Danbury Avenue W.

SEPT. 1

Theft. A Bobcat skid loader was stolen in the 11100 block of Deuce Road.

SEPT. 6

Theft. A caller in the 2200 block of Strunks Road reported the theft of corn.

SHAKOPEE

SEPT. 7

Assault. A 42-year-old Shakopee woman was arrested for domestic assault, terroristic threats and obstruction of the legal process in the 1200 block of Shakopee Avenue.

SEPT. 6

Theft. Police cited a 16-year-old Bloomington boy for shoplifting at Cub Foods, 1198 E. Vierling Drive.

SEPT. 7

Property damage. A Shakopee boy, 17, was arrested for property damage in the 900 block of S. Fuller Street.

SOUTH ST. PAUL

SEPT. 16

Theft. A set of license plates was found hanging from a chain-link fence near Hwy. 52 and Wentworth Avenue.

Attempted burglary. Several window screens were cut and windows were broken in an apparent attempt to get into a house in the 400 block of 6th Avenue S.

SEPT. 17

Vandalism. Somebody spray-painted a vehicle's tires and rims with green paint, left a bag of compost and old newspapers on top of the vehicle, and placed several orange construction cones, sand bags, metal posts and other items on the curb alongside the car. The victim had no idea who would have done it or why.

Warrant. While patrolling an alley between 3rd Avenue S. and 4th avenue S. because of a recent spate of burglaries, an officer encountered a man riding a bicycle and stopped him. A records check found that the man was wanted on a Washington County warrant for disorderly conduct. He was arrested.

SEPT. 19

Property damage. Several windows of a vehicle were broken, apparently by shots from a BB gun, in the 300 block of 5th Avenue S.

SEPT. 21

Theft. A man was caught taking large rocks from a construction site near Thompson Avenue and 13th Avenue N.

Theft. A wallet was reported missing after its owner forgot it near the pumps at the Super Stop gas station near Thompson Avenue and 13th Avenue N. It contained $200.

WEST ST. PAUL

SEPT. 19

Missing person. A caller reported that a 10-year-old child had disappeared after being left alone in a car while the caller went into a store in the 1000 block of Oakdale Avenue. Police began to search, but it was soon discovered that the child had walked home.

SEPT. 20

Property damage. Graffiti was reported at St. Croix Lutheran High School, 1200 Oakdale Av.

Theft. Somebody broke two of a vehicle's windows and stole items from inside in the 2000 block of Oakdale Avenue.

Theft. A customer's purse was taken from a cart at Goodwill, 1361 S. Robert St.

Public assist. A caller reported that a woman was standing with a bicycle and crying in the 1700 block of S. Robert Street. An officer checked and found that she had fallen off her bike and was waiting for friends to pick her up and take her to a hospital.

SEPT. 21

Theft. A car stereo was reported stolen in the 100 block of Emerson Avenue W.

Burglary. A resident of an apartment in the 100 block of Carmel Avenue W. reported that a large amount of prescription drugs had been stolen from his home during the previous week.
