AUG. 21

Theft. Somebody broke a vehicle window and stole a purse in the 14400 block of Burnhaven Drive. The purse contained a black-and-pink Insane Clown Posse wallet.

AUG. 22

Burglary. A wedding ring valued at $1,500 and CDs valued at $1,000 were taken from a car in a garage in the 700 block of E. McAndrews Road. Beer also was taken from the garage refrigerator.

AUG. 23

Theft. Three of a vehicle's windows were broken and a wallet, a car stereo, an iPod Touch, an iPod radio transmitter, a pair of sunglasses and a red baseball cap were stolen in the 1400 block of W. 143rd Street. The total value of the stolen goods was estimated at $533. The damage to the car was estimated at $350.

AUG. 25

Theft. Police arrested a 20-year-old Chanhassen woman in connection with the theft of goods valued at $42 from Cub Foods, 1750 W. County Road 42.

AUG. 26

Burglary. A burglary was reported in the 900 block of Aspen Drive.

AUG. 27

Theft. A trailer valued at $10,000 was reported stolen in the 12000 block of Riverwood Drive.

EAGAN

AUG. 31

Burglary. Somebody broke into an apartment in the 4500 block of Slater Road and stole a 48-inch TV. It happened while the resident was in the hospital.

Property damage. A tree in a yard in the 1400 block of Deerwood Drive was stripped of its bark.

SEPT. 1

Theft. Some change and a watch valued at $400 were taken from a vehicle at McDonalds, 4565 Erin Lane.

SEPT. 3

Theft. A van was stolen from a driveway in the 3700 block of W. Denmark Court.

Theft. A fish finder and two fishing rods were stolen out of a boat in the 2000 block of Marble Lane.

Burglary. A member of a cleaning crew discovered that a safe was missing from Gleason's Gymnastics School, 2015 Silver Bell Road.

SEPT. 4

Theft. Somebody pulled the cover off a scrap metal container, apparently using a car and a chain, then stole scrap metal in the 3300 block of Mike Collins Drive.

Property damage. A caller in the 1900 block of Gold Trial complained that her sister had driven over her flowers and driveway lights. The sister was apparently upset because the caller wouldn't let her move in.

SEPT. 5

Assault. A woman reported that she was scratched by her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend in the 4100 block of Amberleaf Trail. The assailant was arrested.

SEPT. 6

Indecent exposure. A man was arrested in the 1300 block of High Site Drive after a report that he was standing naked looking into an apartment window about 1 a.m.

Theft. A Harley-Davidson motorcycle was reported stolen in the 3200 block of Dodd Road.

Theft. A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 18500 block of Egret Way.

Theft. A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 17500 block of Kettering Trail.

Burglary. A burglary was reported in the 9200 block of Bluebill Bay Road.

AUG. 25

Theft. Sunglasses, soda pop and a pair of shorts, total value $350, were stolen from a vehicle in the 4800 block of SE. Rutledge Street.

Theft. A camera valued at $100 was reported stolen in the 4800 block of SE. Dakota Street.

Theft. A tailgate valued at $850 was stolen off a truck at Dakotah Sport and Fitness, 2100 NW. Trail of Dreams.

AUG. 26

Theft. Somebody broke a vehicle window and stole a rifle and a knife in the 13300 block of NE. Hickory Avenue.

Mischief. A caller in the 5000 block of SE. Minnesota Street reported finding a broken egg in the landscaping around a house and an intact egg in the back yard.

Theft. A vehicle window was broken and a purse and a camera, total value $350, were stolen in the 3600 block of NW. North Berens Road.

AUG. 27

Burglary. A resident of the 15600 block of SE. Fish Point Road woke about 2:45 a.m. to find an unknown man in his home. The resident confronted the man and he fled. Police tracked him down and found that he was intoxicated. He was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Theft. Two leaf blowers, total value $1,000, were stolen from a truck in the 6000 block of SE. 150th Street.

AUG. 28

Theft. Fishing tackle valued at $300 was taken from the bed of a truck in the 14300 block of Crest Avenue NE.

Theft. A purse and an MP3 player, total value $690, were taken from a vehicle in the 14300 block of Crest Avenue NE.

ROSEMOUNT

AUG. 31

Theft. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 3400 block of W. 148th Street.

SEPT. 4

Found property. A bicycle was found in the 2800 block of W. 145th Street.

Disturbance. Police arrested two 15-year-old boys and two 16-year-old boys for disorderly conduct in the 13400 block of Couchtown Court.

AUG. 30

Property damage. A caller reported that while he was driving near W. Hwy. 13 and Yosemite Avenue S., another driver threw a pop can out of the window and it struck his vehicle.

AUG. 31

Theft. A GPS unit and a tool box, total value $150, were stolen from a vehicle in the 1200 block of Joppa Avenue S.

SEPT. 1

Theft. A caller in the 6400 block of W. 147th Street reported the theft of her son's wallet from their home.

SEPT. 3

Burglary. A burglary in progress was reported in the 6100 block of Egan Drive. The intruder fled when officers arrived. They caught up to the suspect, who then tried to drink poison. The suspect was taken to a hospital.

AUG. 30

Theft. Thefts from vehicles were reported in the 3300 block of Aaron Drive and the 24000 block of Kay Drive.

Fraud. A caller in the 24600 block of S. Benedict Road reported that an e-mail account had been hacked.

Weapons. A resident of the 300 block of Central Avenue N. reported that a landlord had pulled a gun.

Road obstruction. A kitchen table was lying in the road near Johnson Memorial Drive and Chestnut Boulevard.

SHAKOPEE

AUG. 26

Theft. A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 1800 block of Eagle Creek Boulevard.

AUG. 29

Burglary. A burglary was reported in the 2100 block of Pembina Lane.

Obstructing the legal process. A 23-year-old Burnsville man was cited for giving a false name to police in the 700 block of E. 3rd Avenue.

Theft. A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 2300 block of Wildwood Drive.

AUG. 30

Burglary. A burglary was reported in the 2200 block of Wildwood Drive.

Lost property. A bicycle was reported lost in the 400 block of Gorman Street.

Burglary. A burglary was reported in the 9000 block of Whispering Oaks Lane.

AUG. 31

Warrant arrest. A 24-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested on a Hennepin County warrant for theft and drug possession at S. Canterbury Road and Valey View Road.

WEST ST. PAUL

AUG. 31

Drunken driving. A caller at Chula Vista, 1741 S. Robert St., reported that an intoxicated patron had left in a vehicle. An officer found him and saw that he had bloodshot, watery eyes. The officer performed sobriety tests and the man passed. The man explained that his eyes were bloodshot because he recently had eye surgery. The officer noted that the man had a positive attitude and thanked the officer for keeping the streets safe.

Robbery. A purse was stolen from a woman outside Walgreens, 1133 S. Robert St.

SEPT. 2

Suspicious activity. A caller at the Holiday store at 1845 S. Robert St. reported that a man wearing nothing but a white T-shirt opened a 12-pack of soda and took two cans about 5:15 a.m. The caller was less concerned about the soda than about the fact that the man was nearly nude and walking in the rain. An officer found that the man's pants had been left behind in the gas station's bathroom. He was apprehended on Mendota Road near the White Castle.

Burglary. A home was reportedly broken into through a bedroom window in the sub-100 block of Logan Avenue E.

Theft. A stereo was stolen from a vehicle outside Menards, 1445 S. Robert St.

SEPT. 3

Suspicious activity. A resident of an apartment building in the 1500 block of Allen Avenue reported that a woman who did not live there was changing the license plates on her car in the parking lot. An officer made contact with the woman, age 25, who explained that she was going to meet a guy and was embarrassed to have "whiskey plates" on her car, so she was putting the old set back on instead. Such license plates have numbers that begin with "W" and are given to drunken-driving offenders. The officer confiscated and destroyed the woman's old set of plates.

SEPT. 4

Fraud. A caller said she sold a Sony PSP to a buyer on Craigslist who paid her with four counterfeit $5 bills. The transaction took place at Wal-Mart, 1644 S. Robert St.

Suspicious activity. A caller in the 1000 block of Charlton Avenue reported that an adult wearing a hood was playing on the playground equipment at Harmon Park. The responding officer observed a woman in the park but did not consider her behavior to be suspicious.

SEPT. 5

Domestic assault. A caller reported that his girlfriend hit him in the face with a vacuum cleaner in the 1800 block of Oakdale Avenue. His teeth were loose and bleeding. Officers said they found that it was a mutual fight; the combatants were a 43-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman.

Theft. A theft was reported at Auto Zone, 1500 S. Robert St.

SEPT. 6

Theft. Somebody broke into a vehicle and stole a day planner in the 400 block of E. Stanley Street.

Theft. A woman reportedly stole two security cameras from Menards, 1445 S. Robert St.

SEPT. 7

Fight. A caller reported a fight at the West St. Paul Commercial Club, 938 S. Robert St. The caller refused to stay on the phone, saying he had other things to do, and when asked he if was an employee, he said he used to be. When an officer followed up, numerous people inside and outside the bar, including the bartender, said nobody was fighting anywhere nearby.
