A 24-year-old Minneapolis man shot to death inside a house on the city's South Side this week was identified on Thursday.

Jamary D. Hearn died of gunshot wounds, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner's office.

Around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a call of shots fired at a house at 1511 E. 38th St. Police found Hearn dead in the house and another man wounded. Suspects in the case apparently knew the victims, said Inspector Lucy Gerold. "There was a very specific reason they were at this house," she said. No one has been arrested.
