FARMINGTON
English teacher honored in Farmington English teacher Patty Nygren has been named teacher of the year by a group of her colleagues in Farmington.
The Farmington Education Association chose Nygren for its 2009-10 award, which includes nomination for the statewide title that will be awarded by Education Minnesota in the spring.
Nygren has taught at Farmington High School since 1987.
