Principal says she's leaving middle school The principal of Farmington Middle School West told parents and staff members that she won't return to the school this fall.

MaLie Lee said she likes the school, which teaches students in eighth and ninth grades, and is resigning for personal reasons. She has a long commute from Brooklyn Center, and it's not realistic for her to ask her kids, who are still in school, to move, she said. Lee, who came to the school last summer, said last week that she hopes to find another job as a principal closer to home.
