BURNSVILLE-EAGAN-SAVAGE
New arts magnet gets name A new magnet school based out of the performing arts center under construction in Burnsville will be called Envision Academy of the Arts, the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage school board decided last week.
The academy will offer intensive instruction in theater, dance and string instrument performance for students in grades nine-11 next fall, with 12th grade added the following year.
A design team for the magnet program brainstormed several names for the school and bounced them off a focus group of high school students, who liked Envision Academy best, the school district said.
