ROSEMOUNT-APPLE VALLEY-EAGAN

Physical exam clinics District 196 has scheduled three dates this summer for student athletes, cheerleaders and dance line members to get physical exams.

The walk-in exams will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday and on Aug. 23 and Sept. 6 at Park Nicollet Clinic at 14000 Fairview Drive, next to Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville.

Exams cost $20, and no credit cards will be accepted. Checks should be made payable to ISD 196. No appointments are needed, but a parent or guardian must be present to sign forms.

The Minnesota High School League requires exams at least once every three years for interscholastic athletes in middle school and high school.

Call your child's school nurse or Eileen Wigley at 952-431-8375 with questions. Do not call the clinic.

FARMINGTON

Conversations with the superintendent The Farmington School District is planning a series of informal opportunities for residents to discuss school issues with Superintendent Brad Meeks. To get the best turnout, the district has created an online survey to gauge what days and times are most convenient.

Go to www.farmington.k12.mn.us/communications to take the survey. Conversations will be held at each school throughout the year. You can also direct comments or questions to communications specialist Aaron Tinklenberg at 651-463-5079.
