Apple Valley

MAY 15

Theft. A resident of a townhouse in the 15600 block of Fjord Avenue reported that his home was burglarized over the winter. He told the officer that he spends the winters in Florida and returned home on May 15 to find items missing, including a computer monitor and jewelry. He believes the burglary may have occurred in February.

MAY 17

Theft. During a traffic stop in the 12700 block of Germane Avenue, a 20-year-old Apple Valley man was identified as a suspect from an earlier theft report and was arrested for theft and receiving stolen property.

MAY 19

Theft. A number of thefts from unlocked vehicles occurred on the night of May 19. They were reported to the police department the following morning. Thefts occurred in the 14500 block and 14600 block of Guthrie Avenue, 14100 block of Glazier Avenue, 14800 block of Haven Drive, 7400 block of 142nd Street and the 100 block of Strese Lane.

Burnsville

MAY 15

Traffic. A 21-year-old Burnsville man was stopped for a minor traffic violation near 129th and County Rd. 5. He was arrested for giving an officer a false name, driving after suspension of his license, providing a false claim of vehicle insurance and possession of more than 1.4 grams of marijuana in a motor vehicle.

MAY 15

Theft. A resident called police to report missing property in the 1600 block of Boardwalk. Someone had damaged his windmill, and his bird baths and lawn ornaments were taken.

MAY 16

Traffic. Near the intersection of Hwy. 13 and Yankee Doodle Road, a 47-year-old Eagan man was arrested for obstructing the legal process and fleeing from an officer on foot after he was stopped for inattentive driving.

MAY 19

Probation. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 5100 block of 183rd Street. They arrested a 19-year-old Farmington woman for disturbing the peace and providing a false name to an officer, as well as two probation violations.

Inver Grove Heights

MAY 17

Traffic. A 25-year-old Inver Grove Heights man was stopped in the 7100 block of Claude Avenue for failure to stop after a property damage accident. The man was arrested for drunken driving.

MAY 19

Traffic. A 21-year-old Inver Grove Heights man was stopped for a minor traffic offense near his home in the 3100 block of 65th Street. He was arrested for having an open bottle, driving after revocation of his license and drunken driving.

JORDAN

MAY 15

Disturbing the peace. An officer responded to a noise complaint received from the 900 block of Bridle Creek Drive. The officer advised the homeowner who was the source of the noise to turn down the music.

Prior Lake

MAY 10

Theft. A 17-year-old Prior Lake man reported $560 in cash was stolen from an unlocked gym locker at a school located at 7575 W. 150th St.

MAY 19

Fraud. A 50-year-old Minneapolis man was being held by Mystic Lake security, 2400 NW. Mystic Lake Blvd., on suspicion of fraud. Officers arrested him for offering counterfeit currency, police said. He also was being held under a Minnesota Department of Corrections warrant.

MAY 11

Assault. Police said a 49-year-old man from Savage was facing charges for terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process after he refused to leave his hotel room and threatened officers in the 4600 block of W. Hwy. 13.

MAY 12

Threats. An 18-year-old Prior Lake man reported that he had been threatened by a man from Savage near the 7800 block of Connelly Parkway. The Savage man had mistakenly thought the man from Prior Lake had damaged his home, police said.

MAY 14

Theft. At Savage High School, 7575 W. 150th St., an 18-year-old Prior Lake man was jailed for possession of a dangerous weapon on school grounds, misdemeanor theft and underage consumption of alcohol after he entered a school dance without paying, police said. Two 18-year-old men from Prior Lake and Savage were cited for underage consumption of alcohol and a 16-year-old girl was cited for minor consumption.

MAY 15

Theft. A 29-year-old Minneapolis woman was cited for shoplifting at Cub Foods, 14075 S. Hwy. 13, after taking $184 worth of baby formula, police said. She was arrested on an outstanding Dakota County warrant for failure to appear for theft.
