Shoplifting. A 48-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for shoplifting from Holiday, 16800 Duluth Av. SE.

Drug activity. A 29-year-old Elk River man and a 29-year-old Dayton man were arrested for drug possession at Mystic Lake Casino, 2400 NW. Mystic Lake Blvd.

Theft. The theft of blackjack chips valued at $165 was reported at Mystic Lake.

Robbery. A 25-year-old St. Bonifacius man was arrested for robbery in the 2300 block of NW. Sioux Trail.

Theft. A laptop computer and bag valued at $1,220 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 14500 block of NE. Rosewood Road.
Theft. Tools valued at $1,500 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 14900 block of NE. Manitou Road.
Disorderly conduct. A 23-year-old Bloomington man was arrested for disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and possession of another person's driver's license at Mystic Lake.

Drug activity. An 18-year-old Rosemount woman was arrested in the 15600 block of Claret Avenue for drug possession and giving police a false name.

Theft. A 38-year-old Tennessee man was arrested for theft by swindle in the 4600 block of W. Hwy. 13.
Theft. A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked at C & E Auto Upholstery, 8847 Hwy. 101.
AUG. 2
Burglary. A computer and video games valued at $1,700 were reported stolen from a home in the 3900 block of W. 126th St.
AUG. 4
Theft. A resident of the 4300 block of W. 137th Street reported his vehicle stolen while he was out of town. The vehicle was discovered to be impounded by the Maple Grove Police Department under suspicious circumstances.
Theft. A Big Lake resident reported the theft of items valued at $400 from his vehicle while it was parked outside a home in the 13900 block of Providence Lane.
AUG. 5
Theft. A Savage woman reported that the window of her vehicle was smashed and someone stole a book bag containing $375 worth of books in the 5600 block of W. 132nd Street.
Theft. A laptop computer and cash, total value $1,739, were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 13600 block of Lynn Avenue S.

AUG. 3
Assault. A 26-year-old Shakopee man was arrested for assault, obstruction of justice and an outstanding warrant in the 100 block of S. Holmes Street.
Assault. A 17-year-old Shakopee boy was arrested for aggravated robbery, assault and underage consumption of alcohol.
AUG. 5
Assault. A 38-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested for assault, obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia at the intersection of 1st Avenue E. and N. Spencer Street.

AUG. 9
Criminal sexual conduct. A 31-year-old Milnor, N.D., man was arrested for criminal sexual conduct.
WEST ST. PAUL
AUG. 10
Assault. A 31-year-old West St. Paul man was arrested for domestic assault, false imprisonment and interfering with emergency communications.
