Theft. Two iPods and a laptop were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 7800 block of Lower 139th Court.
AUG. 13
Theft. A stereo was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 900 block of Cortland Drive.
BURNSVILLE
JULY 28
Drugs. A 20-year-old man was arrested near County Road 5 and Greenwood Drive for underage drinking and possession of a substantial amount of marijuana.
AUG. 2
Disturbing the peace. A 27-year-old was arrested for disturbing the peace on W. McAndrews Road.
FARMINGTON
AUG. 6
Property damage. Less than $500 worth of damage was done to property in the 900 block of Catalina Way.
Theft. A bicycle was stolen in the 600 block of Willow Street.
LAKEVILLE
AUG. 6
Fraud. A stolen credit card was reported used on the 17100 block of Florida Court.
Theft. Property valued at less than $500 was stolen from a vehicle on the 8000 block of W. 220th Street.
AUG. 9
Burglary. Somebody entered a building with the intent to steal or commit a crime on the 16400 block of Kenrick Avenue.
ROSEMOUNT
AUG. 1
Trespassing. A 25-year-old Inver Grove Heights man was arrested for trespassing in a critical public service facility in the 12500 block of Clayton Avenue.
AUG. 3
Theft. A motor vehicle was reported stolen in the 13300 block of Daffodil Path.
AUG. 7
Curfew. Five teenagers were arrested for curfew violation in the 13600 block of Azalea Avenue.
SOUTH ST. PAUL
AUG. 11
Theft. A Pioneer CD player was stolen out of a truck parked at the Sportsman's Guide, 411 Farewell Av. Somebody had broken a door window.
Vandalism. Somebody kicked in a door of a house in the 100 block of W. Park Street. The home was vandalized. There were holes in the walls and shelves, contents of closets ripped down and paint smeared with a broom on the walls.
Theft. Somebody attempted to steal a boat and trailer parked in an alley behind a house in the 400 block of 6th Avenue S. The culprit had cut the padlock on the hitch's tongue, straightened the wing arm on the tongue and inserted the pin so the trailer could get hooked to a vehicle. The boat had been pulled about six feet up the alley, but the responding officer said it looked like the potential thief stopped when the side of the boat came too close to the garage wall and prevented the boat from further movement.
AUG. 12
Vandalism. Somebody spray-painted "YF" and "6 DEEP" on a Chrysler van that was parked in the 1700 block of Southview Boulevard. The paint easily washed off. Police believe the graffiti might be gang related.
Theft. A man reported that someone entered his vehicle in the 100 block of 19th Avenue N. and went through the glove box and center console. While nothing was stolen, the culprit took a tube of sunblock and squirted it all over the left side of the car.
WEST ST. PAUL
AUG. 11
Fraud. A debit card was reportedly used fraudulently at a BP Station in the 1800 block of S. Robert Street. The victim's briefcase had been stolen in St. Paul in July.
Theft. A stereo was taken from a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 900 block of Stryker Avenue.
AUG. 12
Theft. A woman wrote a check at the Wal-Mart at 1644 S. Robert St. The check didn't go through. The woman claimed to be leaving to go to the ATM when she fled the store with all of the items.
AUG. 13
Theft. A 97-year-old resident reported that her credit card was stolen in the 1700 block of Oakdale Avenue.
Theft. A necklace was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Emerson Avenue W.
Theft. A vehicle was broken into and a wallet was stolen at the Southview Country Club, 239 E. Mendota Road.
Suspicious person. A woman with a child tried to steal two bottles from the MGM Liquor at S. 1690 Robert St. She gave the bottles back to the employee and left on foot.
Fight. Seven people were reportedly fighting near Logan Avenue and Imperial Drive. Somebody heard them fighting and asked them to quiet down and they left.
