Drunken driving. A 27-year-old St. Louis Park man was arrested for drunken driving, speeding, failure to drive in a single lane, driving without a valid driver's license and obstructing the legal process following a traffic stop near McAndrews Road and Portland Avenue S.

FEB. 9

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a home on Hope Avenue regarding a child using a deactivated cellphone and calling 911, then telling the dispatcher to shut up. Officers spoke with the 5-year-old boy and his parent, advising them on the proper uses for calling 911.

LAKEVILLE

WEEK OF FEB. 5-11

Theft. A laptop was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 16000 block of Draft Horse Boulevard.

Drunken driving. A 24-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving following a traffic stop at Iselton Way and 161st Street.

Fire. Officers responded to a home on the 16000 block of Jarrett Circle regarding a vehicle fire. The engine compartment was engulfed in flames and the fire had spread to the exterior of the garage. The fire department extinguished the fire. The owner of the vehicle advised he had been warming up the vehicle for about an hour and when he returned, he noticed the smoke.

PRIOR LAKE

FEB. 13

Theft. Twenty wooden pallets were stolen from EcoWater Metro South, 5333 160th St.

FEB. 16

Theft. A 39-year-old St. Paul man was arrested for receiving stolen property, 2nd-degree possession of a controlled substance and 5th-degree possession of a controlled substance at Mdewakanton Fire Department, 2525 Flandreau Trail. Also arrested was a 35-year-old Woodbury man for receiving stolen property.

FEB. 18

Theft. An air compressor and nail gun were stolen from a vehicle on the 16800 block of Dewitte Avenue.

FEB. 19

Theft. Three snowboards were stolen from a vehicle on the 16300 block of Albany Avenue.

FEB. 20

Theft. A purse was stolen from New Horizon Academy, 4400 Fountain Hills Dr.

FEB. 21

Drunken driving. A 52-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested for drunken driving on the 17300 block of Sunset Trail.

SHAKOPEE

FEB. 5

Underage consumption. A 17-year-old Shakopee boy was cited for drinking alcohol and driving at County Roads 21 and 18. Also cited were a 17-year-old Shakopee boy for underage consumption and possession of alcohol and two 18-year-old Shakopee teens for underage consumption of alcohol.

Suspicious activity. A 54-year-old Mound man was cited for soliciting in the roadway at County Roads 83 and 169.

FEB. 6

Theft. A 15-year-old Jordan girl was cited for theft after she was caught shoplifting at Kohl's, 1529 17th Av.

Tobacco violation. Two 17-year-old girls were cited for possession of tobacco on school property at Shakopee High School, 100 17th Av.
