Drugs. A 20-year-old Burnsville man was arrested for possession of marijuana and underage consumption of alcohol on the 1200 block of Portland Avenue.

MAY 16

Missing child. Officers responded to a home on the 100 block of Valley Green on a report of a missing 2-year-old girl. The girl was found in the backyard of a neighbor's home and was safely returned.

Harassment. A male on the 100 block of Chad Circle reported that someone kept texting him that they were looking to purchase drugs. The male caller did not request to speak to an officer.

Check welfare. Officers responded to the 400 block of Seville Drive on a report of a man staggering down the road. Officers located the intoxicated 45-year-old man. He was released to a sober friend.

MAY 18

Suspicious vehicle. Officers observed a suspicious vehicle at the Wayside Rest on the 600 block of Broadway Street at 1:24 a.m. The female driver said she was looking for a place to wait for a few hours before going home. She was advised of options other than a park area after hours.

MAY 19

Suspicious vehicle. Officers observed a suspicious vehicle at the Wayside Rest on the 600 block of Broadway Street at 12:36 a.m. The occupants in the vehicle were an 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl. Contact was made with the girl's parents and they were unaware she was not in the house. The girl was taken to the police station and was picked up by her mother.

Theft. Tires and rims were stolen from a truck on the 20000 block of Homestead Court.

Drunken driving. A 17-year-old girl was arrested for drunken driving after officers found her sleeping in a vehicle outside a residence on the 18000 block of Lansford Path.

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity on 205th Street and Jacquard Avenue. A 36-year-old man was found to have a warrant for possession of controlled substance and was arrested. He was found to have a controlled substance on him at the time of the arrest so new charges were added.

Assault. Officers responded to Lower 208th Street West on a report of an assault in progress. A 26-year-old man sustained cuts to the neck and stab wounds in various areas. He was taken to the hospital. The two suspects, a 49-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman, were arrested.

Theft. Officers responded to a report of an employee at SuperAmerica, 18450 Orchard Trail, caught stealing Minnesota lottery tickets. The 18-year-old woman was arrested. The case is still under investigation.

PRIOR LAKE

MAY 16

Assault. A 20-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested for assault and terroristic threats on 160th Street and Franklin Trail. Also arrested was a 17-year-old Prior Lake girl for assault and disorderly conduct.

SHAKOPEE

MAY 19

Driving violation. A Shakopee woman, 18, was cited for use of a wireless communication device while driving following a traffic stop on McKenna Road. A 22-year-old Minneapolis man also was cited for possession of marijuana.

MAY 21

Underage consumption. A 20-year-old Shakopee man was cited for underage consumption of alcohol on the 1900 block of Mathias Road.

MAY 22

Drugs. A 19-year-old Shakopee man was arrested for possession of marijuana, fleeing police, obstruction and underage consumption of alcohol on the 1400 block of Coneflower Lane.
