Fire. The fire department responded to a house fire on Penkew Way. The cause of the fire was determined to be improperly discarded smoking material.
Theft. A 10-week-old puppy was stolen from a home on the 3600 block of Ridgewood Drive. It is believed the suspect entered through an open garage and took the puppy and other valuables from inside the home. Some of the items were recovered near the home, but the puppy is still missing.
Theft. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 900 block of Ridge Street.
Theft. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 1000 block of Mallard Street.
WEEK OF JUNE 25-JULY 1
Theft. A pair of sunglasses was stolen from a vehicle on the 16000 block of Elm Creek Lane.
Welfare check. Officers responded to a home on the 206th Street W. and Holt Avenue on a report of an extremely intoxicated 20-year-old woman, screaming, on the roof of a home. Neighbors got the woman off the roof before officers arrived. She told officers she consumed alcohol and took an unknown substance. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Burglary. A purse was stolen from a home on the 20000 block of Holiday Avenue. Entry was gained through an unlocked front door.
Theft. Two purses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 9700 block of 163rd Street W.
Drugs. A 64-year-old St. Anthony man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance at Mystic Lake Casino, 2400 Mystic Lake Blvd.
Theft. A hanging plant was stolen from the 17000 block of Toronto Avenue.
Theft. Construction equipment, valued at $11,500, was stolen from a job site on the 13900 block of Pike Lake Trail.
Theft. Two bicycles were stolen from the 17000 block of Stonebriar Circle.
Theft. A dream catcher was stolen from the 16000 block of Franklin Trail.
Theft. Three weed whippers were stolen off a trailer on Deerfield Drive and Fish Point Road.
Property damage. Two mailboxes were damaged when one was blown up on the 3600 block of Willow Beach Trail.
Theft. A 17-year-old Prior Lake girl, a 17-year-old Crystal girl and a 17-year-old Shakopee girl were cited for theft after they were caught shoplifting at Kohl’s, 1529 17th Av.
Drugs. A 20-year-old Brooklyn Park man was cited for possession of marijuana and arrested on a warrant at County Roads 83 and 42.
Drugs. A 34-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, giving police a false name, driving after revocation and a prior warrant following a traffic stop at Mystic Lake Drive NW. and County Road 42.
Trespassing. A 66-year-old Shakopee man was cited for trespassing at Huber Park near Fillmore Street N.
Theft. A 26-year-old Eden Prairie man was cited for theft at Holiday, 1381 Greenwood Court.
Drunken driving. A 25-year-old Eden Prairie woman was arrested for drunken driving following a traffic stop at 10th Avenue and Marschall Road.
Theft. A 31-year-old Bloomington woman was cited for theft after she was caught shoplifting at Walmart, 8101 Old Carriage Court.
