Suspicious vehicle. Officers responded to the 200 block of Triangle Lane regarding a suspicious vehicle. A 19-year-old man reported that he was being followed by unknown people in a vehicle that he did not recognize. Officers located the suspect vehicle driven by a juvenile male with juvenile female passengers. They explained they were friends of the caller and that he wouldn't recognize the vehicle and decided to play a prank on him by following him. The caller was advised that the people in the tailing car were his friends.
Suspicious activity. A 35-year-old woman from the 100 block of Broadway Street reported electrical concerns because she would get static shocks from the carpet while vacuuming barefoot. She said there were no signs or smell of burning wire. She called police back to advise that after contacting her boyfriend, police assistance was no longer required.
Suspicious activity. An officer observed a woman standing near Hwy. 169 and Creek Lane S. looking as if she was attempting to cross the highway. The officer spoke to the 35-year-old woman and advised her to use the nearby crosswalk. Six minutes later he observed her walking across the highway, not in a crosswalk, and being almost struck by a vehicle. She was cited for jaywalking.
