Disorderly conduct. A 62-year-old Burnsville man was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process at Burnsville Parkway and I-35W.

Theft. A 26-year-old Burnsville man was arrested for theft after he was caught shoplifting at Target, 810 County Road 42.

DEC. 13

Drugs. A 20-year-old Savage man was arrested for possession of marijuana, driving after revocation and no proof of insurance following a traffic stop at McAndrews Road W. and County Road 5.

DEC. 30

Disorderly conduct. A 22-year-old Savage man was arrested for obstructing the legal process and disorderly conduct on the 2900 block of Hwy. 13.

DEC. 25

Drunken driving. A 36-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving and possession of cocaine following a traffic stop for a driving violation at County Road 9 and 7th Street.

DEC. 27

Check welfare. Officers responded to a home on the 900 block of Lodge Drive regarding a 911 hang-up call. A mother said a juvenile female accidentally dialed 911. Officers spoke with multiple children and advised them on appropriate phone use.

DEC. 28

Suspicious vehicle. Officers responded to the 200 block of Triangle Lane regarding a suspicious vehicle. A 19-year-old man reported that he was being followed by unknown people in a vehicle that he did not recognize. Officers located the suspect vehicle driven by a juvenile male with juvenile female passengers. They explained they were friends of the caller and that he wouldn't recognize the vehicle and decided to play a prank on him by following him. The caller was advised that the people in the tailing car were his friends.

DEC. 30

Suspicious activity. A 35-year-old woman from the 100 block of Broadway Street reported electrical concerns because she would get static shocks from the carpet while vacuuming barefoot. She said there were no signs or smell of burning wire. She called police back to advise that after contacting her boyfriend, police assistance was no longer required.

DEC. 31

Suspicious activity. An officer observed a woman standing near Hwy. 169 and Creek Lane S. looking as if she was attempting to cross the highway. The officer spoke to the 35-year-old woman and advised her to use the nearby crosswalk. Six minutes later he observed her walking across the highway, not in a crosswalk, and being almost struck by a vehicle. She was cited for jaywalking.

WEEK OF DEC. 18-DEC. 24

Robbery. Officers responded to the 17000 block of Jonquil Avenue regarding an armed robbery. A male victim reported a black male pointed a gun at him and stole $3,000 cash.

Domestic. Officers responded to a home on the 17700 block of Eureka Avenue regarding a verbal domestic. Officers mediated between a mother and teenage daughter. The two separated for the night.

WEEK OF JAN. 1-JAN. 7

Theft. Officers responded to Target, 18275 Kenrick Av., regarding a theft by employee. A juvenile female was cited for theft and released to her parents.

SHAKOPEE

DEC. 29

Soliciting. A 42-year-old Minneapolis man was cited for soliciting on a roadway at Hwy. 169 and Canterbury Road S.

JAN. 4

Driving violation. A 32-year-old Shakopee man was cited for driving after revocation and arrested for a warrant following a traffic stop on the 2300 block of Vierling Drive.
