Assault: A 38-year-old Savage man was charged with assault and possession of a controlled substance and hypodermic needles, and a 24-year-old Burnsville woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 3900 block of Egan Drive.

Drug activity: A 25-year-old St. Paul man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, driving with a revoked license and a Goodhue County warrant after a traffic stop for an equipment violation near the intersection of Egan Drive and Huntington Avenue S.

DWI: A 24-year-old New Brighton man was arrested for DWI and a 20-year-old from Minneapolis were arrested for possession of hypodermic needles after a traffic stop for speeding and an inoperable taillight near the intersection of S. Hwy. 13 and W. 152nd Street.

DWI: A 48-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested for DWI after a traffic stop for improper lane use near the intersection of S. Highway 13 and South Park Drive.

DWI: A 45-year-old Olivia, Minn., man was arrested for DWI, refusal to submit to a chemical test, child endangerment, obstructing the legal process, open bottle in a motor vehicle and driving with a canceled license after a traffic stop for running a red light on the 400 block of Gorman Street.
