South metro arts and leisure briefs: Eagan choir schedules spring concert

Choir schedules spring concertCommunity choir Eagan Women of Note will perform a spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Eagan High School.

Admission to the concert with the theme "Songs For Her Beloved" is $10 for adults and $6 for children under 12.

The choir started with 18 members in 1999 and now includes almost 60 women from the Twin Cities. Directed by Taylor Quinn, the choir performs at community events throughout the metro area.

Wildcat Junior Classic is comingThe Eagan High School Boys Golf Booster Club is sponsoring the 11th annual Wildcat Junior Golf Classic at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rich Valley Golf Club in Rosemount. The nine-hole event is a shotgun start, rain or shine, and there are age groups for boys and girls, ages 10-12 and 13-14. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers from each group.

Registration is $35 and includes food, prizes and a gift bag including tournament T-shirt and photo bag tag. Each group will play with a member of the Eagan High School golf team. Call 651-683-9037 for more information.
