Heavy rain will spread through the Deep South later Thursday and Friday.
Rainfall in general will be 1 to 2 inches with some locations getting as much as 3 inches. Minor flooding problems are expected in some low-lying areas.
Along with the rain, be prepared for the possibility for strong to severe thunderstorms which could cause localized wind damage. A large outbreak of severe weather is not expected in this instance.
