GENERAL INFORMATION: HASTINGS, MN, 6/4/01, MONDAY- The past of the LeDuc Mansion in Hastings is glorious. The peaked roof "cottage" is a textbook example of an American country home of the mid 19th century. But for years the future of the house has been uncertain. Now its owner, the Minnesota Historical Society, has decided to sell the house. The Hastings Historical Society has already raised $70,000 and hopes to buy it. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online at www.rosemountaac.org or reserved ahead of time by calling 952-255-8545. They also can be purchased at the Steeple Center, either ahead of time or at the door.
