Some Needed Rainfall for the Drought Region

Thunderstorms will likely erupt from central Texas to eastern Oklahoma duringthe course of this weekend as higher humidity feeds into the region.The thunderstorms should bring some needed rainfall to parts of this region,which has been suffering through extreme drought and numerous wildfires.

Unfortunately, the rainfall will be scattered and do little to ease thelong-term drought, but any moisture getting into the ground will at leasttemporarily help out.
