LIGHT ONE ITEM at a time, and never in an enclosed container.

NEVER ATTEMPT to relight a "dud."

HAVE A BUCKET of water to cool spent sparklers and extinguish other fireworks.

AVOID dry grass, brush or debris.

SET AN EXAMPLE by using only legal fireworks (those that don't fly or explode).

WEAR SHOES, but don't wear hats and loose clothing.
