Solid Gold is presently getting a good ride at both www.mtv2.com and www.mtvu.com with their new video for "Matter of Time," the song that the Minneapolis-based electro-whir rockers recorded for the Mountain Dew-affiliated Green Label Sound. The video is featured right at the top of both sites, trumpeted as a premiere. Click here to go directly to the moody, icy clip, which was filmed in Madison (where the band formed). With the treadmarked babes and late-night bleariness, it comes off a bit like a cold-weather copycat of "Less Than Zero," although it's cool how the Lite Brite-like array of colors that have been a frequent backdrop to the band's live shows also pops up here in the video.
