WEEKEND WATCH GUIDE

Serie A: Inter Milan at Roma, 2:45 p.m. Saturday, beIN Sports. With nine games to go, Roma has a five-point lead on the Italian field for the third and final spot in next season's Champions League. Inter, one of two teams that trails by five points, sees this game as one of its last chances to climb back into contention.

Liga MX: Leon at America, 6 p.m. Saturday, Univision. It's not one of Mexico's traditional rivalries, but this has become an important clash between two clubs that have lately been among the best in Mexico. After a rocky start to the spring, America has won three consecutive matches and is in fourth, two points behind Leon.

Premier League: Manchester United at Manchester City, 11 a.m. Sunday, NBC. Few expected this to be a matchup of sixth-place vs. fourth-place teams, but in an upside-down Premier League season, this is a battle for a Champions League spot. United trails its rivals by four points; a win for either side could be pivotal.

MLS: Toronto at Sporting KC, 6 p.m. Sunday, FS1. So far, nothing in the MLS season is going according to plan — witness lowly Houston's 5-0 thrashing of league favorite Dallas last week. Toronto and Kansas City remain undefeated, however, and this will be an important test for Toronto's remade defense and KC's refashioned offense.
