With the Wild in the market for the third head coach in team history, staff writer Michael Russo takes a look at some possible candidates. Here's a sampling:

KEN HITCHCOCK

Guided the Stars to the Stanley Cup title in 1999 and also coached the Flyers and Blue Jackets.

CRAIG MACTAVISH

Known as an outstanding defensive player, he had Edmonton one victory from the Stanley Cup title in 2006.

ANDY MURRAY

Plenty of Minnesota ties as a former North Stars assistant and Shattuck- St. Mary's coach.
