Blizzard conditions will be possible across parts of Montana on Wednesday,as a storm system brings a third consecutive day of wintry weather. Snowfallhas already accumulated 2-3 feet in the higher elevations, with snow drifts upto 6 feet deep. An additional 3-6 inches of snow will blanket much of northernand western Montana, with even higher amounts likely in the higher elevationsnear Great Falls.Travel will remain very difficult, if not impossible, across parts of thestate on Wednesday. Strong gusty winds will cause drifting snow to continue, and blowing snow can reduce visibilities to near zero at times. In addition tothe snow and wind, unseasonably cold air will cause record low temperatures onWednesday night, with temperatures falling to the upper teens and low 20s.

Conditions will slowly improve Wednesday night into Thursday, as the stormsystem moves away from the area.
