After three years I know better than to complain about the cold. Is it ok to kvetch about color withdrawal? So many of my photos of the winter garden might as well be black and white. I find myself searching out color in the strangest places; photographing grapefruit in the kitchen for a hint of some more cheerful hue. With the long shadows and low light, I guess I have to be content with a blue, blue, blue Christmas.
