The last remnants of the great Christmas Blizzard will shift from the Midwestto the Northeast during the next 24 hours. Snowfall will not be particularlyheavy from here on out, but a swath of 1- to- 2 inches is expected fromnorthern Ohio and southwest Ontario through Upstate New York and northern NewEngland. This disturbance has had a history of producing a burst of heavy snow. Innorthern Illinois 3 to 6 inches of snow fell Saturday. In view of that wecannot rule out sporadic 2- to- 4 inch snowfalls along and 20 miles either sideof a line from Toledo, Ohio to Concord, New Hampshire.

East of the Appalachians there won't be much but a coating is possible insoutheastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey late Sunday night and in southern NewEngland Monday.
