SNOW EMERGENCIES

Minneapolis and St. Paul have declared snow emergencies. The parking restrictions, which took effect Saturday night, differ greatly in each city.

MINNEAPOLIS

Parking is prohibited on snow emergency routes until 8 a.m. Sunday. The prohibition shifts to the even-numbered sides of streets not designated as snow emergencies, until 8 p.m. From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, parking is banned from the odd-numbered side of non-snow emergency routes. Complete rules can be seen at www.ci. minneapolis.mn.us or by calling 612-348-SNOW.

ST. PAUL

Parking is banned on night plow routes until the streets are clear. Then, the parking ban shifts to day plow routes. More information is available at www.stpaul.gov or by calling 651-266-PLOW.
