Snow Coming to the Northeast

January 20, 2010 at 8:25PM

This WILL NOT be one of those classic eastern snowstorms (sigh of relief fromthe crowd); however, there will be enough snow to cause slippery travel in themid-Atlantic region Thursday night into Friday. Everything suggests this stormwill miss southern New England completely.Currently, we feel the best shot of accumulating snow is in Pennsylvania,Maryland and the eastern side of West Virginia. The bull's-eye for the stormmay be in the higher elevations of southwestern Pennsylvania where more that 6inches of snow is possible by Friday afternoon. The high country of westernMaryland could do equally well.
