Snow Cleanup Weather from Crippling Blizzard

Dramatic weather improvement along the Southern Appalachians and themid-Atlantic today will favor cleanup operations on the streets, highways andairport runways. Although very cold temperatures will keep the threat high foricy spots on roadways across a good portion of the Northeast into Monday.The snow is over for Philadelphia, Wilmington, Baltimore and Washington, D.C.,which were all slammed by heavy snow on Saturday. By lunchtime, the snow willbe over in Boston.

Winds will weaken across the mid-Atlantic by the afternoon, while gusty windscould still create blowing snow across eastern New England throughout theday.
