Free safety Harrison Smith, who missed Sunday's game in Atlanta because of a knee injury, was participating during the brief open portion of practice a few moments ago.

Meanwhile, not practicing or present were safety Andrew Sendejo, who left Sunday's game in the second quarter because of a knee injury, and nose tackle Linval Joseph.
