The Lions will be without one starting linebacker on Sunday and could be missing a second.

As if the 1-7 Detroit Lions didn't have enough problems.

The Lions, who will play the Vikings on Sunday at the Metrodome, will be without starting outside linebacker Ernie Sims (hamstring) and are listing starting middle linebacker Larry Foote (knee) as questionable. Not exactly good news for a team that is going to be trying to slow Pro Bowl running back Adrian Peterson. Jordon Dizon is listed as Sims' backup but he also is listed as questionable because of a neck injury.

Foote was able to take part in a portion of practice Friday for the first time this week. His backup on the Lions' depth chart is DeAndre Levy. Foote leads the Lions with 56 tackles and also has one sack.

Also listed as questionable for Detroit is starting right end Dewayne White (toe).

Quarterback Matthew Stafford (knee) and wide receiver Calvin Johnson (knee) are among seven Lions listed as probable. That list includes defensive tackles Joe Cohen (ankle), Grady Jackson (knee) and Sammie Hill (toe); fullback Jerome Felton (ankle); and defensive end Jason Hunter (knee).
