Winterfest at Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge will be this coming Saturday, Feb. 5. To see a poster with complete event listings, go to:

Participants are invited for two "Nature Photography" workshops with Dave Zosel, at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. A "Raptors by Family" program will be presented by the Audubon Center of the Northwoods at 11 a.m. and p.m. Activities for all ages will be available. Everything is free but the food! Tents will be used for some programs, and they will be heated.
The refuge is located on Sherburne County Road 9, 5.6 miles west of Highway 169. Take Highway 169 north of Elk River to the County 9 exit.
