Shelved Penelope Cruz movie may be seen after all

It's an odd world when they make a movie that has Penelope Cruz in it, and it's not released to theaters. It couldn't be that bad. Who would care if it was? Might be the subject matter:

Perhaps this might be the real problem:

I have no love for bullfighting. Don't care how much spectacle and tradition and bravery is involved; stabbing cows just isn't my thing. Same goes for gladatorial combats, but I don't remember PETA protesting the digital recreations of people getting hacked to death in "Spartacus."
