Owen Gleiberman at EW has written the the best, and most comprehensively brutal, epitaph for the Sheenius' "Violent Torpedo" tour. And it has some news, too:

Of course they did! They want him to be the bridge-burning wild man with a million dollars and a wild & craaaazy life they can only dream about. You know, drug problems, empty-headed hookers for emotional needs, utter estrangement from your children - that sort of too-good-to-be-true fantasy. When he turns out to be boring and weird, they turn on him.

Here's a backstage photo. Mr. Intensity!

The Cleveland show was a little better, apparently. The key to success? Praise local sports teams, and tell the audience to go smoke pot. If nothing else he has a future in morning-zoo talk radio.
