Sharp Early Week Contrast

The setting of warm, settled weather in the East and stormy, even wintry,weather in the West will flip as of the start of the new week. Thus, it willbecome wet and rather cold with widespread rain over the Midwest and most ofthe Northeast. At the same time, strong high pressure will afford widespreadsunshine and dramatic warming throughout the West.Thus, while the Denver area sees whatever is left of its latest snowfallmelt rather like spilt ice cream in summer, cold rain may turn to snow in theUpper Midwest in areas such as Wisconsin.
