An 84-year-old Shakopee man died Saturday when his car ran off the road in Hopkins, hitting a light pole.
The crash happened shortly after 5 p.m. as the driver was heading north on Hwy. 169 and took the eastbound Hwy. 7 ramp, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The victim's name was not released Saturday evening, pending notification of his family.
