Sex charges dropped against Hudson adult care director

June 2, 2009 at 4:18AM

Criminal charges filed in December against the executive director of a Hudson, Wis., area adult care facility have been dismissed at the prosecutor's request.

Carolyn Ann Lopez, 30, had been charged with felony sexual assault involving a male patient, according to charges filed in St. Croix County Circuit Court. The patient was being treated for mental illness and chemical dependency.

Lopez, 30, owns and operates Heartview Inc., in Hudson Township. She denied the patient's allegations.

Prosecutor Frank Collins dropped the charges because he thought he couldn't prove the case, according to St. Croix County court records.
