Severe Storms to Threaten Florida

The storm set to unleash drenching rain across the Deep South and substantialsnow over the mid-Atlantic will also spark potentially damaging thunderstormsacross the Florida Peninsula Friday. Thunderstorms will ignite as incomingcooler air clashes with the warmth currently covering the state.Damaging winds and blinding downpours will be the main threats from thestrongest thunderstorms. It is not out of the question that an isolated tornadoor two could touch down and cause destruction. Be sure to seek shelterimmediately if any storm-related warning is issued for your area.
