Severe Storms Shift to Eastern Seaboard on Monday

Severe storms will fire from the Delmarva Peninsula and southeasternVirginia through the eastern Carolinas and eastern Georgia into northernFlorida. Norfolk, Charleston Savannah and Jacksonville may get hit by stormswith damaging winds, hail and localized flash flooding. Isolated tornadoes mayalso develop, especially from southeastern Virginia to eastern NorthCarolina.The threat for severe storms will end quickly before midnight and calmerweather will follow for much of the region through Tuesday.
