Severe storms will fire from the Delmarva Peninsula and southeastern Virginia through the eastern Carolinas and eastern Georgia into northern Florida. Norfolk, Charleston Savannah and Jacksonville may get hit by storms with damaging winds, hail and localized flash flooding. Isolated tornadoes may also develop, especially from southeastern Virginia to eastern North Carolina.

The threat for severe storms will end quickly before midnight and calmer weather will follow for much of the region through Tuesday.
