Severe Storms Return on Thursday

Here we go again. Another strong storm crossing the West before striking atthe nation's midsection, and again, this parent storm system will spark anoutbreak of severe thunderstorms over the Great Plains.In this latest instance, the storm outbreak will begin in the afternoon overthe western Plains from western Kansas, southwestern Nebraska and easternmostColorado to southwestern Texas. The outbreak will continue overnight.

Greatest severe weather threat will stem from high and damagingstraight-line winds.

There will be more potentially severe thunderstorms over the south-centralregion on Friday.
