Strong thunderstorms will erupt overnight between southern Ohio and the Florida Panhandle along a corridor spanning the western side of the southern Appalachians. Damaging winds and hail will be possible.

On Monday, the area under threat of severe, local weather owing to strong thunderstorms will stretch from the Delmarva southward to northeastern Florida.

A few such thunderstorms may hit the area of Baltimore and Philadelphia. Here again, severe weather threats will stem from damaging winds and hail. Also, a few tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
