A 28-year-old man from Bloomington died Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash on Hwy. 169 south of Interstate 494, on the Bloomington-Eden Prairie border, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Travis Krautkremer was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Camaro that was slowing down on the right shoulder of southbound 169 as a 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty behind it veered onto the right shoulder, then hit the back of the Camaro and drove over it. The Super Duty, which was driven by Christopher M. Wendt, 33, of Savage, then turned over and came to rest on its roof in the right ditch. The Camaro came to rest facing north in the same ditch.

The crash happened at 6:19 p.m., the patrol said.

Wendt suffered minor injuries.
