They did it with Harry Potter, too--took the last book and chopped it in two, making two movies out of it instead of one. Which made everyone wait longer and spend more money, but which also drew out the deliciousness.

So let's go with that: Lionsgate Films is drawing out the deliciousness of "The Hunger Games." (Although "delicious" isn't exactly the right word here, is it? Unless we're referring to Peeta's bread.)

The first "Hunger Games" movie came out in March, and it was, as expected, a huge success. Now, they move to autumn--the next three autumns.

The second movie, based on Book Two, "Catching Fire," will be released in November 2013, and then "Mockingjay," the final book, will be released half by half, November 2014 and then November 2015.

And by then it'll be on to the next new thing.
