You had to be a dedicated "Idol" fan to last through the two+ hours of the show last night. Thank god for TIVO.
Many of the star acts did not sound up to par, but the taped interviews did what they were intended to do: pull the heartstrings and hopefully, draw money for the truly needy.
Poor "Teflon" Tim Urban's ouster was almost lost in the production. Here's a little parting fun. Tim reminds me of David Cassidy, from the Partridge Family show from the 70s.
