Senser trial: Monday's highlights

May 1, 2012 at 1:34AM

Sobbing at times, Amy Senser testified that she remained incredulous that she struck and killed Anousone Phanthavong even as it became apparent she was responsible. "I just never saw him," she said.

COMING TUESDAY

The prosecution will cross-examine the defense's final witness, a traffic reconstructionist, who testified that Phantavong was crouched, making him hard to see. After that, both sides will present closing arguments, then the case will go to the jury. Judge Daniel Mabley has told jurors to bring overnight items.
