Minnesota Senate Minority Leader Dave Senjem, R-Rochester, will endorse former House Minority Leader Marty Seifert's gubernatorial bid Wednesday, according to a source.

The endorsement will come at a press conference at the State Office Building at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

The nod comes as the race between Seifert and Rep. Tom Emmer is heating up for the Republican party's endorsement and the two appear to be closely matched in delegate strength heading into the final stretch before the Republican party endorsing convention this spring.
